Dough:

- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Filling:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Glaze:
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk or cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: 2 tablespoons cream cheese or unsalted butter
Instructions
- Prepare Yeast Mixture: Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit until foamy.
- Mix Dough: Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture. Stir in flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Knead and Rise: Knead the dough, then let it rise until doubled in size.
- Fill and Roll: Roll out the dough, spread butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top. Roll up and slice into rolls.
- Rise and Bake: Let the rolls rise, then bake until golden brown.
- Make Glaze: Mix glaze ingredients and spread over warm rolls before serving.
