Description

This Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake recipe combines the flavors of sushi in a warm, comforting casserole. Creamy salmon mixture on a bed of seasoned rice, baked to perfection and garnished with nori and tobiko.

  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ cup green onions chopped, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 sheet nori cut into small strips

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook Rice: Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions and season with vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  3. Layer Rice: Spread rice in a baking dish.
  4. Prepare Salmon Mixture: Combine salmon, mayonnaise, Sriracha, sesame oil, and green onions.
  5. Layer Salmon Mixture: Spread salmon mixture over rice.
  6. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with green onions, nori, and tobiko. Serve warm.
