- 4 medium strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and cocoa: In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
- Add sugar and salt: Stir in sugar and salt until well combined.
- Mix in eggs and vanilla: Beat in eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- Stir in flour and chocolate: Gently fold in flour and 1 ½ cups of chopped chocolate until just combined.
- Assemble the brownies: Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Dollop strawberry jam over the top and swirl with a knife. Scatter sliced strawberries and remaining chocolate over the surface.
- Bake and cool: Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
