Description

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¾ cups coarsely chopped chocolate, divided
  • ¼ cup strawberry jam
  • 4 medium strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and cocoa: In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
  3. Add sugar and salt: Stir in sugar and salt until well combined.
  4. Mix in eggs and vanilla: Beat in eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  5. Stir in flour and chocolate: Gently fold in flour and 1 ½ cups of chopped chocolate until just combined.
  6. Assemble the brownies: Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Dollop strawberry jam over the top and swirl with a knife. Scatter sliced strawberries and remaining chocolate over the surface.
  7. Bake and cool: Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
