Description

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 200 g mild cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
  • 5 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled, divided

Boiling and Finishing

  • 1.2 litres water
  • 60 g baking soda
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Butter Topping (Optional)

  • 60 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: Combine scrambled eggs, garlic powder, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the bacon in a bowl.
  2. Stuff the Rolls: Divide the pizza dough into portions, fill each with the egg mixture, and shape into rolls.
  3. Boil and Bake: Boil the rolls in water and baking soda, then brush with egg wash, sprinkle with salt, and bake until golden.
  4. Optional Butter Topping: Combine melted butter, salt, and parsley, brush over the baked rolls before serving.
