- 2 cups water
- 2 hibiscus tea bags, OR 2 tablespoons of dried hibiscus flowers
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/4 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 2–3 tablespoons maple syrup, adjust to taste
- Optional toppings: Extra sliced strawberries and lemon slices, and/or fresh mint leaves.
Instructions
- Boil Water: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Steep Tea: Remove the saucepan from heat and add hibiscus tea bags or dried hibiscus flowers. Let it steep for 5-10 minutes.
- Blend: In a blender, combine strawberries, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Combine: Strain the hibiscus tea into a pitcher. Add the blended strawberry-lemon mixture and stir well.
- Chill: Refrigerate until cold. Serve over ice with optional toppings.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
- For a stronger hibiscus flavor, steep the tea bags or dried flowers for a longer time.
