Lasagna Layers:
- 1 pound lasagna noodles
- 32 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Meat Mixture: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, ground pork, onion, and garlic until browned. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Cook the Lasagna Noodles: Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Assemble the Lasagna: In a baking dish, layer lasagna noodles, meat mixture, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Repeat layers. Top with remaining meat mixture and cheeses.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
