Chocolate Layer:
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 ounces)
- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup pecans chopped into bits (plus more for topping, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Caramel Layer: Melt caramel squares with 2 tablespoons of whipping cream in a saucepan until smooth. Spread into a lined pan.
- Prepare Chocolate Layer: Melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix in pecans and pour over the caramel layer.
- Chill: Refrigerate until set, then cut into squares. Enjoy!
