Chicken Cutlets:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 egg whisked with a splash of milk
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Panko
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Garlic Butter:

  • 4 tbsp salted butter, slightly melted
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 23 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan

Caesar Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp anchovy paste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Others:

  • 4 hoagies or baguette
  • 34 cups romaine lettuce, chopped or shredded

Instructions

  1. Make the chicken cutlets: Slice chicken breasts horizontally, bread with egg and breadcrumbs, fry until golden brown.
  2. Prepare garlic butter: Spread on bread halves and toast.
  3. Whisk Caesar dressing: Toss with chopped romaine.
  4. Build the sandwich: Layer chicken, salad, and Parmesan on toasted bread halves. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add grilled chicken or bacon to enhance the flavor.
  • Substitute romaine with kale or spinach for a different twist.
