Main Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb large shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 200 g spaghetti or pasta of choice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or 1 dried red chili, crushed
  • 1/2 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream or evaporated milk
  • 2 tbsp parmesan or mozzarella cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season Shrimp: Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook Pasta: Boil water, add pasta, and cook until 1 minute shy of al-dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook Shrimp Mixture: Heat oil, cook garlic, add red pepper flakes, onion, tomato, and shrimp. Add tomato sauce and cream, then bring to a boil.
