Description

This Crock Pot Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole is a delicious and comforting dish perfect for a family meal. Layers of tater tots, chicken, bacon, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese cooked to perfection in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 32 ounce (907 g) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 1/2 pounds (680 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 ounce block of cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 cup green onion, diced
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. PREP: Cook bacon until crispy, crumble it, and cut chicken into cubes. Coat slow cooker with non-stick spray.
  2. START LAYERING TATER TOTS, BACON, & CHEESE: Layer tater tots, bacon, and cheese in the slow cooker.
  3. MAKE CHICKEN, RANCH, & CREAM CHEESE LAYER: Add chicken, ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and more bacon and cheese.
  4. TOP WITH ANOTHER LAYER OF TOTS AND CHEESE: Add remaining tater tots, cheese, and milk.
  5. COOK: Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 5-6 hours. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ranch seasoning can be store-bought or homemade.
  • Recipe can be prepped ahead of time.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 4-5 days.
