Description

Ingredients for Sausage Queso:

  • 1 lb ground pork sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 20 oz Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies
  • 15 oz can of corn, drained
  • 8 oz medium cheddar cheese, shredded

Garnish for Queso Dip:

  • 1 Roma tomato, diced
  • 1 Tbsp chives or green onion, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Brown Sausage: Brown sausage in a dry pot until cooked, then remove excess grease.
  2. Melt Cream Cheese: Cut cream cheese into pieces and stir into browned sausage until melted.
  3. Add Ingredients: Add Rotel tomatoes, corn, and cheddar cheese. Cook until bubbly and cheese is melted.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with tomatoes, cheddar, and chives. Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • Make sure to use ground pork sausage labeled as ‘sausage’.
