Description

These BBQ Chicken Sliders are the perfect combination of tender shredded chicken, tangy barbecue sauce, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese, all sandwiched between soft slider rolls. They are easy to make and great for parties or a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 1/4 cups barbecue sauce
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 6 slices thick cut bacon, cooked
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉ and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce.
  3. Slice slider rolls, place bottom halves in dish.
  4. Spread BBQ chicken over rolls, add bacon, onion, cheese.
  5. Top with remaining rolls, brush with butter.
  6. Cover with foil, bake 15 mins, then 5 more uncovered.
  7. Cool for 5 mins before serving.

Notes

  • Shred rotisserie chicken if needed.
  • Any shredded cheese can be used.
  • Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat sliders in the oven at 350°F for 5-10 mins.
