Description

These Buffalo Chicken Sliders are a perfect appetizer or party snack, featuring tender pulled chicken tossed in a tangy Buffalo sauce, topped with crisp lettuce and a creamy blue cheese spread, all sandwiched between soft brioche slider buns.


Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless, chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Buffalo Sauce:

  • 4 oz unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Franks RedHot Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sriracha sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Blue Cheese Spread:

  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup creme fraiche
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Simmer chicken with stock, water, and salt until cooked through. Pull apart when cool.
  2. Make Buffalo Sauce: Whisk together all sauce ingredients, simmer, and set aside.
  3. Prepare Blue Cheese Spread: Whisk together all ingredients and set aside.
  4. Assemble Sliders: Simmer pulled chicken in Buffalo sauce, then pile onto buns with lettuce and blue cheese spread.

Notes

  • Adjust Buffalo sauce heat level by adjusting sriracha and hot sauce amounts.
  • For a milder version, reduce or omit sriracha.
