Description

These Cheeseburger Sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any gathering. Juicy ground beef topped with melted cheddar cheese, sandwiched between soft dinner rolls, and baked to perfection.

  • 2 lb lean ground beef, (90/10 or 93/7 fat content)
  • 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 large yellow onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 slices medium cheddar cheese
  • 6 oz medium cheddar, shredded
  • 24 dinner rolls
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet: Preheat oven to 350˚F and butter the bottom of a rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Cook ground beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef with onions and seasonings until cooked through.
  3. Prepare sliders: Layer bottom half of dinner rolls with sliced cheese, ground beef mixture, and shredded cheddar. Top with remaining roll halves.
  4. Bake sliders: Brush tops with melted butter, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
