- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Thyme dried or fresh
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) Broth or water
- 1/4 cup Pine nuts (optional)
For topping:
- 1 Egg beaten
- 1/4 cup Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Prepare the dough: Combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt, water, and oil. Knead until smooth. Let rise.
- Make the filling: Sauté onion, garlic, and brown ground beef with spices. Add tomato paste and broth, then cook until juicy.
- Shape the buns: Divide dough, fill with beef mixture, seal tightly, and shape into balls.
- Rest and bake: Let the filled buns rest, then brush with egg, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake until golden brown.
